About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manager of Operations to lead our customers’ Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) activities and post-entry compliance processes. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliant and efficient execution of FTZ operations, as well as managing post-entry corrections—including duty refunds, tariff reclassifications, and other regulatory adjustments.

About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manager of Operations to lead our customers’ Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) activities and post-entry compliance processes. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliant and efficient execution of FTZ operations, as well as managing post-entry corrections—including duty refunds, tariff reclassifications, and other regulatory adjustments.
What The Candidate Will Do
- Lead and manage daily Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations across multiple customer accounts, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations.
- Manage and execute post-entry correction activities, including protests, Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), and duty drawback filings.
- Act as the primary point of contact with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other government agencies for all FTZ and post-entry-related matters.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and minimize compliance risks.
- Deliver strategic guidance to customers to optimize FTZ benefits while proactively minimizing compliance risks.
- Track and analyze FTZ utilization and post-entry correction trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Support the onboarding of new customers with FTZ or post-entry requirements by conducting documentation reviews and compliance assessments.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of related experience
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, particularly 19 CFR Parts 146 (Foreign Trade Zones) and 174 (Protests).
- Active Customs broker licensed preferred
- Proven experience managing import compliance programs with direct interaction and collaboration with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- CUSEC or CBP audit experience is a plus.
