You will be responsible for tracking labor, maintaining schedules, managing documentation, and supporting field operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Superintendents in daily operations and project execution
- Assist with scheduling updates, labor requisitions, and workforce projections
- Monitor and analyze labor costs and manhour data
- Track weekly production metrics across all Polk Mechanical trades
- Manage employee time entry and coordinate with Payroll for accuracy
- Prepare and process personnel action forms, including new hires, terminations, and wage changes
- Participate in and document weekly subcontractor meetings
- Assist with material take-offs and backorder follow-up
- Maintain documentation related to employee performance and safety compliance
- Enforce quality control and job site safety standards
- Coordinate with Learning & Development on employee training, certifications, and compliance
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors
- Model and promote the Polk Mechanical culture and core values on all projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- OSHA 10 Certification required
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction or the mechanical industry preferred
- Familiarity with plumbing, piping, and sheet metal construction systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret and enforce contract documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in team environments
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Procore
- Ability to lead, train, and support project teams
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Ability to work on active construction sites, including walking, climbing, and navigating uneven terrain
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including hot/cold environments and confined spaces
- Travel required primarily within a 5-state region around Texas; occasional out-of-region travel as needed
