Process Engineer

DescriptionKLJ is seeking a **Process Engineer** to support the planning, design, and optimization of oil and gas infrastructure projects. This role involves field and office-based work assisting with hydraulic analysis, process design, equipment sizing, PFDs/P&IDs, and system modeling to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.Key Responsibilities:-

Assist with engineering design, data analysis, and process simulations for oil & gas systems-

Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs for facilities including pipelines, pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks-

Conduct field walkdowns, contribute to HAZOP/LOPA studies, and participate in project planning and closeouts-

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution from concept to completion-

Generate technical reports, hydraulic calculations, and cost estimates under minimal supervision-

Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsQualifications:-

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field-

1-3 years of experience in oil & gas process engineering-

EIT certification preferred-

Proficiency in PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and process simulation tools (e.g., VMG, HYSYS)-

Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills-

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in office and field environments-
