We are looking for a Program Manager, Senior I (Manufacturing).

In this new role, you will be responsible for overseeing the transition of our manufacturing operations to contract manufacturing. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Primary Duties

  • Lead and manage the transition of manufacturing processes to contract manufacturing partners.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure smooth and efficient transition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing goals with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of contract manufacturers to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transition process.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of the transition.
  • Partner with Customer, Product and Technical teams to identify and scope solutions for unique challenges.
  • Understand customer needs, define clear project objectives and execute high expectations in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Manage key customer relationships, including senior managers
  • Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas.
  • Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Provide technical consultation, direction, and training or mentoring to others as needed.
  • Tracks multiple tasks and projects to keep them on schedule. Identifies and reports obstacles.
  • Exhibits well-developed organizational, writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Interviews and recommendation personnel for engineering teams and other disciplines.

Supervisory Requirements

Perform tasks listed above under moderate supervision. Receives general instructions from engineers and department leader.

Has authority to make decisions within the scope of the tasks assigned as long as they conform to the guidelines of the department lead and managers. Suggested new ideas and new ways of doing things are welcomed and will be considered but are subject to management approval.

Required

  • 8-10 years’ experience working with Manufacturing teams, leading cross functional coordination and team communication.
  • Executed corporate-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
  • Experience with contract manufacturing and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated ability of working in complex cross-cultural environments to drive business process changes.
  • Experience developing operational processes and process improvements.
  • Track record of delivering programmatic goals and managing complex projects.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, presenting to senior executives.
  • Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
  • Ability to self-manage and adapt to changing conditions and requirements.
  • Experience working in a team environment and tolerate occasional travel.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $122,039 and up depending on experience.

Hybrid work schedule - working onsite at our Renton location Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Travel to Contract Manufacturing facilities (domestic) as required approximately 10% to 20% of base business needs.
