Description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Project Data Analyst/Project Scheduler to will gather information from a variety of sources to update the project schedule, produce status reports, review and evaluate project data, and provide input to solve project issues to keep various SHINE projects on track. The position will perform various scheduling, reporting, and administrative tasks. The role will focus on developing and implementing an improved system to manage the monitoring and controlling of SHINE projects.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Duties And Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities of the Project Data Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect, input, and analyze schedule information quickly and reliably
  • Generate forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects
  • Research and reports on various external and internal factors that may impact project success.
  • Evaluates current processes and recommends changes to improve efficiency of scheduling of projects
  • Report schedule variances and concerns to scheduling manager, project managers and leadership
  • Attends and/or establishes department planning meetings with stakeholders throughout the company to build relationships and ensure proper schedule inputs
  • Familiarize themselves with engineering, construction, and procurement processes to provide helpful inputs, feedback, and review of schedule durations and logic
  • Proactively seek schedule and risk information that may impact the project timeline
  • Work with the Director of Project Controls to produce monthly project reports and manage the risk register

Requirements

  • Degree in a business or scientific field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical/quantitative skills
  • Prior planning/scheduling or project management desired
  • Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, Project and/or Oracle Primavera P6
  • Ability to accurately communicate, investigate, evaluate and identify solutions
  • Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate and present information to stakeholders in both verbal and written formats
  • Must be a results-oriented, self-disciplined relationship builder with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to “see the bigger picture” and get to the heart of issues rapidly
  • Strong work ethic; genuine passion for excellence
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, prioritizing them in a way that contributes most to Company success

Working Conditions And Physical Effort

  • Works in both an office and active construction environments
  • Requires frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, grasping, and reaching above the shoulders and below the knees.
  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 40 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
  • Fine motor coordination and strong depth perception is beneficial.
  • Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
