Proficient Keyboard Skills P. C. computer experience.
CPR recommended
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
Excellent interpersonal skills. Must relate well with surgeons, office personnel, nursing personnel and other departments. Analytical and problem solving skills required to resolve scheduling conflicts. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function in a fast paced environment with established time constraints. Ability to utilize a computer for data entry, reports, spreadsheets. Ability to be flexible in hours to meet the needs of the unit.
If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

- Development of surgical schedule on a daily basis.
- Operating Room Utilization Committee to obtain all information required to schedule a surgical procedure.
- Maintenance of professional work environment.
- Facilitator of daily surgical schedule.
- Responsible for optimal utilization of surgical scheduling
- Identifies and achieves resolution of scheduling problems.
