Job Summary
ITS, LLC is seeking an Strategic Level Planner to join our team in Alexandria, VA! The successful candidate will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals in developing Joint Planning documents. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability to operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities.

ITS, LLC is seeking an Strategic Level Planner to join our team in Alexandria, VA! The successful candidate will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals in developing Joint Planning documents. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability to operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, Plan, and Integrate support into customer planning, exercises, training, and operations activities.
- Integrate activities into the joint planning cycle supporting customer needs.
- Provide subject matter expertise to outside organizations in support of operations and exercise planning coordination and deconfliction.
- Support development, deployment and execution of plans and operations orders.
- Prepare various reports, presentations and documentation as needed.
- Support development and coordination of space operations guidance and intent.
- Plan, organize and coordinate space operations planning programs.
- Works under minimal supervision to set objectives for work environment.
- Leverage operations center communications contracts to coordinate operational processes, best practices, doctrine, and procedures.
- Work will be primarily conducted at in Springfield, VA at the customer site, with potential for travel within the United States and potentially overseas to support program execution.
- Familiarity with Joint Operations and Joint Planning Process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience updating senior leadership.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of NRO Reserves and their integration with operational missions.
- Graduate from Joint Professional Military Education program.
- 2+ years’ experience in a General Officer/Flag Officer G/J/N-5 (Plans Directorate).
- DoD/NRO systems liaison / field representative.
- Space familiarity
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly required.
- In compliance with Virginia’s Equal Pay Act, the salary range for this role is based on education, experience, and responsibilities.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
