Job Description

Overview:
The Manager for Onboarding and Engagement is responsible for managing the design and execution of onboarding initiatives that enhance the employee experience from pre-hire through the onboarding process and early tenure (first 13 months). As a curator of the candidate and employee experience, you are passionate about luxury goods and you will play a pivotal role in highlighting what makes Tiffany an employer of choice, attracting, and retaining top talent.

A natural leader with the ability to inspire and build consensus, this Manager will play a key role in developing global comprehensive onboarding programs, fostering employee engagement strategies and driving initiatives that strengthen company culture, retention, and productivity for early tenured employees. Effective execution will support employee learning and preparedness to excel in their new role and greater engagement.

Reporting to the Global Director of Learning and Development, the role will be based out of our Global Headquarters in New York, NY and qualified individuals will have a passion for collaboration, a sense of curiosity, and ability to communicate with impact at all levels of the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

Onboarding Development & Management:

  • Design and execute comprehensive and compelling onboarding programs which authentically communicate our culture, benefits, policies, and procedures. Incorporate our People Promise, “We Craft Expressions of Joy” into the onboarding to bolster engagement.
  • Partner with various stakeholders to ensure new employees have the necessary resources and support.
  • Aid in the development of orientation sessions, tours, and training workshops for new hires.
  • Curate onboarding materials, including handbooks, training guides, and welcome kits.
  • Champion a globally consistent digital onboarding experience that effectively communicates Tiffany’s unique heritage, culture, and values to new employees across all geographic locations.
  • Partner with cross functional teams such as HRIS, Diversity Equity Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB), HR Business Partners and Internal Communications to integrate programing and align onboarding and engagement strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness of onboarding and engagement programs, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of onboarding and engagement programs.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in employee engagement and onboarding.
  • Establish and utilize feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement and ensure a positive and impactful onboarding and engagement experience.

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive engagement strategies specifically targeted at enhancing early-tenure employee satisfaction, retention, and overall performance, aligning these initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Partner strategically with HR Business Partners and Talent Directors to proactively gather insights on early-tenure employee engagement levels, identify key areas for improvement, and translate these findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of impactful cross-team building activities designed to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and highly engaging work environment, promoting strong relationships and communication across departments.
  • Provide strategic support and coordination for executive recruitment efforts as needed.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Employee Services (US) and Zone HR leaders to address new employees’ questions and concerns during the onboarding process.
  • Partner closely with HR and management to strategically align onboarding and engagement practices with overall business objectives, driving employee success and organizational performance.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent and effective communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience within Human Resources or Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, master’s degree is a plus
  • Prior experience working within luxury goods, beauty or retail is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possesses advanced presentation skills with a specific focus on delivering live/virtual on-boarding sessions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated track record in gathering and analyzing data and metrics
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibits cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and global, geographically dispersed organization
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and confidence in ability to consult, design, develop and deliver multi-faceted programs end to end

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting HR teams and/or a global talent function
  • Previous experience with event coordination
  • French language skills are a plus

The hiring range for this position ranges from $122,485 - $172,920 rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience. Management is also eligible for bonus.
