The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Demonstrates competency in self-leadership, team leadership, and clinical standards.
- Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients.
- Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Documents patient information accurately and provides education to patients and families.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), 1 year of related experience, RN licensure, and BLS certification; ACLS certification within 30 days.
- New hires undergo orientation, preceptorship, and competency validation.
- Work schedule is from 7AM to 7PM, full-time position.
