The registered nurse independently practices in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
- Demonstrates competency in leadership, including self, others, and teams.
- Provides nursing care per ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Accurately documents patient information, history, symptoms, and care provided.
- Evaluates learning needs and delivers education to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an RN license in the state or a compact license.
- Work schedule varies; position is full-time.
