Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and service security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and fire alarms.
- Program and configure security and audio-visual equipment to meet the specific requirements of each installation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security and audio-visual systems, identifying and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Provide training and technical support to clients on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of security and A/V systems.
- Proficiency in the programming and configuration of security equipment.
- Knowledge of security system components, including alarms, cameras, access control systems, and fire alarms.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with Control 4, 2Gig, Qolsys, Alarm.com, Genea, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus
- Comfortability handling handguns and familiarity with handgun knowledge is preferred, but not required
