- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations and adherence to established protocols and procedures
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Provide leadership and guidance. Support staff development through training, performance evaluations, and ongoing mentorship
- Collaborate closely with Field Operations Director and Veterinarians to maintain high standards of care and enhance the overall effectiveness of hospital operations
- Optimize staffing levels, equipment, and supplies the hospital to meet patient care needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Foster collaboration and communication
- Serve as a point of contact for emergency situations, participating in on-call rotations and providing support as needed
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process
- Routinely lead hospital meetings and one-on-one meetings with employees and doctors
- Oversee facility cleanliness and organization
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, and unpleasant odors
- Ability to always communicate professionally and effectively and maintain professionalism in emotionally charged / challenging situations
- Ability to provide high quality customer service embodying a yes culture for clients
- Ability to work effectively with computers, software, and electronics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds?with or without accommodation
- At least one year prior leadership experience required
