Job Summary
The Community Center Associate II will be based at one of Clever Care’s Medicare Community Centers and will provide customer service to Clever Care members and seniors in the community. This person will represent Clever Care in the community and will develop and maintain the company’s reputation. The position will be customer-facing with some sales responsibilities. The representative will be motivated by Clever Care’s mission to deliver culturally-sensitive health care solutions to seniors in our community.

Job Summary
The Community Center Associate II will be based at one of Clever Care’s Medicare Community Centers and will provide customer service to Clever Care members and seniors in the community. The representative will be motivated by Clever Care’s mission to deliver culturally-sensitive health care solutions to seniors in our community.
Functions & Job Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service for the Community Center.
- Provide in-language support for members regarding their benefits and accessing care.
- Act as a Medicare Advisor with in-language support to community members with questions about their Medicare options.
- Schedule and coordinate health events held at the community centers. This includes logistic and planning efforts.
- Responsible for communicating and coordinating general building repairs with Facilities Manager/Department.
- Maintain a proper inventory of equipment, center supplies and promotional/marketing items.
- Track and monitor traffic flow and utilization of services.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is working properly for quality assurance purposes.
- Responsible for managing the use of space to host meetings and programs while ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Identify, develop and promote programs and activities that bring value and interest to the Community Center by working closely with the community, Field Engagement team and Sales team.
- Track and report weekly and monthly updates, calendar of activities and other reports.
- Manage and support the Community Center’s online presence with the Marketing team.
- Track and monitor the Community Center’s budget and expenditures.
- Identify and work with community partners to build referral resources.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors in Business, Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in marketing preferred
- Experience working in health care, non-profit organizations, or senior community preferred
- Experience in event planning or coordination
- Experience working with an ethnically diverse population
- Experience in program/activity development
- Life agent license and notary public license is a plus, however, training and licensing assistance will be provided to the right candidate
- Bilingual in Vietnamese Mandarin, or Korean on a business-level (reading, speaking and writing)
- Excellent customer service skills, experience serving the senior population a plus
- Ability to present to small and large groups
- Desire to help seniors get and stay healthy by improving their access and understanding of their healthcare options
- Planning event details and aspects – must be detail-oriented and focused on delivering positive experiences for attendees
- Reliable, present, and dedicated
- Strong organizational skills

Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Must be able to travel when needed or required
- Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone and perform repetitive motion (keyboard); writing (note-taking)
- Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to fifteen (15) lbs.
