Clinical Nurse III Labor and Delivery

The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and assessing patients through diagnostic tests.

• They evaluate patient needs, make sound nursing judgments, and deliver primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Collaboration with the nursing team to develop care plans and guiding ancillary staff is essential.
• Cross-training occurs between High Risk Antepartum and Labor & Delivery units, with routine assignments on either unit.
