Position: Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Charming Lakes Rehabilitation and Care Center, FL

Pay Range: $28 - $34 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team, committed to providing outstanding care and support to our residents. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Physical Therapist (PT) in delivering safe, effective, and compliant therapy.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and dress codes, ensuring a professional environment.
• Prioritize resident safety and comfort throughout all therapy activities.
• Adhere to facility safety standards, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Use safety equipment as needed when lifting or moving residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy area, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Promptly report any hazardous conditions or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Wear personal protective clothing for services involving potential exposure to blood or body fluids.
• Report missing or illegible labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to your supervisor.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing home setting
