Job Summary

As a Sales & Design Consultant at Bumble Bee Blinds, you will be responsible for selling custom window covering products to residential and commercial clients in the Norhtwest Arkansas market. You will mainly be in the field building a clientele and driving sales revenue. A successful Sales & Design Consultant will hold oneself to high customer service standards while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as intellectual capital and a sales-driven mindset to present innovative solutions to prospective customers. This position offers a base salary plus commission, with uncapped earning potential based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Using consultative sales process, measure and design custom window covering solutions to recommend and quote options.
  • Close sales and follow up to ensure a 5-star experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Keep client and project information up to date.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members.
  • Generate leads through canvassing and networking.
  • Attend company meetings and product trainings.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong working knowledge of common computer software including but not limited to: MS Outlook Word, Excel, and CRM programs.
  • Required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in self-generated lead sales, commercial sales, or customer service.
  • Very detail-oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including and understanding of basic grammar and writing.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and forward-thinking.
  • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous window covering sales, home services sales or service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Follow sales playbook, company policy and procedures.
  • Negotiate, resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and adapt to change.


Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

  • M-F, 8a-6p, occasional Saturdays between 9a-3p.
