Role: Business Analyst / QA

Location: Position is mostly remote but requires willingness to travel occasionally to local office in Eden Prairie, MN and sometimes throughout the US to meet with clients

Contract: 5 months, with potential for extension or conversion

Rate: $48.23-$53.46/hour W2 depending on experience

Overview

We are hiring a Business Analyst / QA contractor to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality hospitality technology solutions. This hybrid role supports both analysis and quality assurance for solution features.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers and PMs to clarify scope and acceptance criteria.
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and perform manual and automated testing to validate features.
• Identify, track, and report bugs and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Facilitate communication between business, product, and technical teams.
• Participate in sprint planning and review sessions.

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst/QA (dual exposure) in software development projects.
• Experience with test automation tools and manual testing
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
• Experience with hospitality workflows / industry
