This position serves as our customer service representative for citizens, agencies and other nonprofit entities during the event reservation process. Reviews event applications and sends for approvals as appropriate. Helps in the coordination and supervision of various scheduled events. Serves as the front desk reception for the Capitol Superintendent's office, answering general inquiries on service requests and other special needs of the Capitol tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as front desk receptionist for the Capitol Superintendent's office. Duties include:
This position works in an office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include good written and verbal communication skills, and strong experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

- Salary is up to $65,000.00 based on education and experience.

Reviews event applications and sends for approvals as appropriate. Helps in the coordination and supervision of various scheduled events. Serves as the front desk reception for the Capitol Superintendent's office, answering general inquiries on service requests and other special needs of the Capitol tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as front desk receptionist for the Capitol Superintendent's office. Duties include:
- Answer the general office phone
- Assist walk-in traffic with service requests (entering into the work order system)
- Assist with Fitness Center access requests
- Assist with Access Badge creation as necessary
- Assist with vendor sign-ins
- Maintain the Lost and Found
- Assist with Flag orders
- Answer the event phone line
- Give space tours and answer questions regarding spaces and amenities
- Review event applications and send for approvals
- Coordinate and supervise event setups/tear downs
- Provide support during events to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Provide support when necessary for weekend events
- Performs other duties as assigned

- The candidate must have an independent work ethic, good judgment capabilities, the ability to maintain positive public relations, and must be persuasive. Ability to work in a team environment, fully support the goals and objectives of the department. The candidate must be computer literate and be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate with individuals on rules and regulations regarding the usage of reserved space.
