Salary Range: ($57,846 - $86,772)
The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Technician II. Position performs skilled maintenance work for the authority. The work involves maintaining authority properties, structures, projects and equipment. Workers carry out daily assignments, follow through on matters, and use independent judgment and training to take appropriate actions to deal with standard recurring situations under the direction of the Facilities Manager. Workers performs mechanical, electrical, and control system maintenance and repair work for such items as passenger boarding systems, luggage conveyance, cargo handling systems, access control systems, electrical fixtures, circuits and devices; life safety and communications systems, building systems maintenance and fleet maintenance.
Applicant should have completed a two year program in one or more of the primary maintenance trades at an approved technical/vocational school, Diesel /Automotive Technology preferred, and have a minimum two years of progressively responsible experience performing maintenance in an industrial environment.
