Functional Pathways is seeking an experienced, dynamic Area Director of Operations (ADO) to oversee and elevate multiple rehabilitation facilities across the Western region. Functional Pathways is seeking an experienced, dynamic Area Director of Operations (ADO) to oversee and elevate multiple rehabilitation facilities across the Western region. This salaried leadership role offers quarterly performance-based incentives and the chance to make a meaningful, hands-on impact.
Responsibilities
As an ADO, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular on-site visits to support and engage local teams
- Building strong relationships with facility administrators and team leaders
- Leading structured meetings and strategic initiatives
- Identifying and resolving operational challenges
- Ensuring ongoing accessibility and support for staff
- Overseeing documentation, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes
- Leading quality assurance efforts and implementing forward-thinking rehabilitation programs
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations.
- Active state license.
- Must possess a current certification from NBCOT if required by state – OT/COTAs only.
- Must possess a current certification from ASHA (CCC) Certification – SLPs only.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Must have multi-site management experience (1-3yrs)
