Job Summary:

The Software Developer role involves updating and developing software solutions, collaborating with senior developers, and utilizing industry-standard methodologies to create commercial software applications.
Responsibilities:
• Update existing software and develop new software solutions to address a specific need or solve a particular business problem.
• Contribute to all development activities in accordance with appropriate methodologies and application of a repeatable, systematic, and quantifiable approach to the development process.
• Work closely with more senior developers to ensure code alignment with design patterns/frameworks.
• Develop commercial software applications using sound, repeatable, industry standard methodologies.
• Write commercial software application solutions based on detailed requirements and system specifications.
• Design and lead development of 12 factor applications including designing and implementing frameworks and technologies for Continuous Integration and Build and Delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study
• 1 year of experience as a Software Application Developer or related role
• One year of experience with Azure Cloud Technologies and microservice approaches
• One year of experience with Java test frameworks including Junit
• One year of experience with Software development lifecycle, tools and multiple teams working methodologies including waterfall, scrum, and agile
• One year of experience with Source control software including ADO, Git and SVN
• One year of experience with crafting self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components in back-end technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud Containers
• One year of experience with Networking and client-server communication including REST, web sockets, and server-sent events
• One year of experience with Messaging technologies including Azure Event Service, Event Hub / Service Bus, Kafka, and other streaming applications and tools
• One year of experience with Architecting and implementing scalable high availability solutions
• One year of experience with Building and releasing pipeline solutions
