- This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ in Carlsbad, CA. In-office expectation is 3 days a week*.
The prAna Sales Team drives growth by forging strong relationships with key wholesale partners and aligning seamlessly with internal partners in Planning, Merchandising, Design, and Marketing. By understanding consumer needs and market dynamics, they position our product for maximum relevance and success—delivering real results through strategic insight and collaboration.
As a member of the Sales Team, the Sr. Key Account Rep manages sales functions for assigned key accounts, to ensure the business sustainably grows. Responsibilities include creating account strategies and sales plans, account presentations, collaborating to analyze/plan accounts financials, and in-season management. Additional responsibilities include assortment planning, assisting with projecting and tracking inventory needs and on hands for future production.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Drives sustainable and profitable sales growth with assigned key accounts, including day-to-day business operations. Cultivates sales opportunities with an enterprise mindset, leveraging analytics, and aligning brand priorities.
- Collaborates and utilizes sales analytics and product, consumer, and marketplace insights to construct and communicate compelling seasonal Go-to-Market plans. Provides business forecasts to internal stakeholders and creates and executes the brand strategy.
- Collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to run a best-in-class business.
- Builds and maintains exceptional account relationships and serves as a liaison to various stakeholder teams.
- Drives development of long-term growth strategies that align to brand expectations and deliver on goals of increased market share, while elevating brand equity.
- Delivers compelling seasonal product presentations utilizing elevated and persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques.
- Collaborates with internal and external partners to create and implement marketing plans that build consumer awareness, drive conversion (sell-through), and lead to brand advocacy.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the sales field
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Strong in written and verbal communication
- Able to handle and work with proprietary, private and confidential information
- An out of the box thinker and willing to challenge the status quo – creative ideas and solutions preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years’ experience in sales of Apparel and/or equivalent industry experience
- Thorough knowledge of marketing, sales theory, strategy, prospecting, account business planning, forecasting, retail math, use of sales aids, and closing techniques
- Knowledge of product lines/services and the outdoor industry
- Experience with inventory planning and analysis
- Experience leading business reviews and creating marketing plans
- Advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build relationships
- Able to travel 25% of the time.

Salary Range: $93,600 - $156,300
- Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate’s capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
