Reporting to the Director of Worldwide Marketing, this role will support the Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) Marketing & Franchise team, and will be responsible for organizing and securely distributing core production marketing assets for all WDAS film titles during their pre and post-release windows, while ensuring timeliness against deadlines, clear communication and consistency across all executions.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Worldwide Marketing, this role will support the Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) Marketing & Franchise team, and will be responsible for organizing and securely distributing core production marketing assets for all WDAS film titles during their pre and post-release windows, while ensuring timeliness against deadlines, clear communication and consistency across all executions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing day-to-day marketing clip requests and other A/V deliveries, including trailers, TV/digital spots and toolkit animations.
- Supervise worldwide film presentation content availability and incoming requests via secure company platforms (GSS SP/FP, DDS) on behalf of WDAS.
- Assemble, watermark, catalog and securely distribute slides and clips for global presentations (via Aspera or Box) to internal partners.
- Coordinate and execute all pre-release domestic and international screenings of WDAS films through company-approved secure channels.
- Track incoming Marketing & Franchise team projects, and proactively recommend and provide assets as needed, while clearly communicating with requestors about follow-up questions, deadlines, and suggesting solutions.
- Organize WDAS Marketing and Franchise assets across internal platforms for optimal internal collaboration, intuitive access, long-term planning, and consistency across titles.
- Ensure strict content security standards are upheld for all title assets, including watermarking and prescribing appropriate levels of content access for partners external to WDAS.
- Identify need gaps within projects and work with the WDAS Franchise Lead to provide recommendations for high-value assets that should be created to support ongoing Franchise business.
- Build and maintain quality relationships with Production teams to ensure that cross-line-of-business asset requests are met and fulfilled appropriately.
- Communicate asset deliveries to key partners, and ensure asset availability documents are up-to-date.
- Leverage WDAS internal tools and asset repositories, as well as Disney Studio-specific tools like Wonderland, Mulan, DDS, Box, and Debut, as needed.
- Manage the WDAS Marketing & Franchise asset archive and migration process, and ensure assets are up-to-date and organized at all times.
- Meticulous organizational skills are a must.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical for this role.
- Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous deadlines, and reprioritize efforts frequently when needed.
- A thorough understanding of Google Suite applications, Word, Excel and an ability to learn new technical tools on the job.
- Effectively able to partner closely with many different types of colleagues, in both creative and technical spaces.
- Ability to recommend new best practices and ideas based on time and experience spent in role.
- An eagerness to learn constantly.
- Must be available to work onsite 3-5 day per week.
- Understanding of Animation Pipeline a bonus.
- 1+ years experience in Media or Entertainment industry preferred.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
