Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of driving results? Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts at our beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Located in the heart of South Florida, our hotel features 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including the stunning Grand Ballroom that hosts up to 500 guests—perfect for weddings, conferences, and high-profile events.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.


Revenue Management:

  • Set and achieve sales targets for the hotel, including room revenue, catering, and other ancillary revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the sales team to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of individual and collective goals.


Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and industry partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and negotiate contracts to drive business growth.


Marketing Collaboration:

  • Collaborate to develop and execute effective marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to marketing standards in all sales materials and communications.


Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and analytics to monitor performance against targets.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.


Event and Catering Sales:

  • Oversee the sales efforts for conferences, meetings, and special events.
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales or in a similar senior sales role within the hotel industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales and revenue management principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Familiarity with industry software and tools.
  • Availability to travel as required.
