Amada Senior Care - East Bay is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to perform face-to-face initial and ongoing Nurse Assessments per state license requirements and or for Long-Term Care Insurance Assessments. These assessments will require you to obtain:

Requirements
Amada Senior Care - East Bay is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to perform face-to-face initial and ongoing Nurse Assessments per state license requirements and or for Long-Term Care Insurance Assessments. These assessments will require you to obtain:
- Patient History
- Medical History: Review of past and current medical conditions, surgeries, allergies, medications, and immunizations.
- Family History: Assessment of hereditary conditions and diseases within the patient’s family that might affect their health.
- Social History: Information about the patient’s living situation, social support, lifestyle, occupation, and any relevant social factors.
- Physical Examination
- General Appearance: Observations regarding the patient’s overall physical condition, mobility, and hygiene.
- Vital Signs: Measurement of blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and weight.
- Systemic Assessment: Examination of various body systems, including cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, and integumentary systems.
- Pain Assessment: Evaluation of the presence, type, intensity, and location of pain.
- Functional Assessment:
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assessment of the patient’s ability to perform basic self-care tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
- Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): Evaluation of the patient’s ability to perform more complex tasks such as managing finances, handling transportation, shopping, and managing medications.

- Communicative, compassionate, understanding, and FUN Support Team
- Paid new-hire orientation
- Valid and active RN license in California.
- Proven experience in conducting thorough assessments and developing care plans.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance standards in non-medical home care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support caregivers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Empathetic, patient-centered approach to care delivery.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Knowledge of Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) assessments is a plus.
Working Hours
- Working hours may vary based on the needs of the client. This role may include evenings and weekends.
