Description
As the Service Technician Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the service department. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for inventory management, equipment maintenance, and compliance with industry regulations.

As the Service Technician Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the service department. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for inventory management, equipment maintenance, and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of automotive service technicians
- Assign work orders and monitor technician performance
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance services
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and customer information
- Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies
- Inspect and maintain service equipment
- Resolve customer complaints and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician Manager or similar role
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive problems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes dirty environment
- Ability to use hand tools and other equipment
