This position is essential for enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing them with mobility and access to essential services. The driver will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed during transportation. Additionally, the driver will engage with residents, providing companionship and assistance as needed, which fosters a supportive community environment. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall well-being and satisfaction of the residents at Aspen Trace.

Communication skills are vital, as the driver will interact with residents and staff, providing updates and assistance as needed. Preferred skills such as First Aid knowledge can be beneficial in emergency situations, enhancing the safety of all passengers. Job Responsibilities
- Transport residents to and from appointments, events, and activities in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the transportation vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and family members regarding transportation schedules and any changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving, ensuring a secure environment for all passengers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in a transportation or caregiving role.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with the local area and community resources.
