Overview
Under the general supervision of the Asset Management Manager perform work of complex difficulty implementing, configuring, maintaining, and reporting the Operations Department Asset Management Program.

Training And Experience
Associate Degree or 60 college credit hours towards degree from an accredited university, or Certificate of Applied Management II, and two years of progressively responsible experience with a computerized maintenance/asset management system.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the employee resides.
Pursuant to MSD's "Substance Abuse Policy and Procedures," this position has been designated as non-safety sensitive and candidate must pass a Non-D.O.T. Drug Test for this position. Employees occupying this position are not subject to Federal (D.O.T.) Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations.
Employees of MSD must have a meets expectations on their last review.

- Provide technical expertise in the definition, installation, implementation, maintenance, modification, and modernization of the computerized (IBM Maximo) Asset Management Program
- Assist in data conversion and migration efforts
- Act as a Maximo technical subject matter expert (SME) and main point of contact for end users
- Conduct system testing as required
- Assist in developing training programs and training District personnel
- Maintain records and prepare reports.

- Considerable knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management
- Considerable knowledge of work processes and flows
- Knowledge of procurement/supply-chain, inventory management, planning and scheduling, GIS, document management systems, and workforce management
- Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with District personnel, consultants, and contractors
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Skill in preparing technical reports and maintaining records
- Skill with spreadsheet, word processing, project management, presentation, and computerized maintenance management system soft wares, specifically, IBM Maximo.
