Job Summary
Support instructional and research laboratory operations within the Biological Sciences of the Department of Natural Sciences, under the supervision of the Biological Sciences Laboratory Manager.

Job Summary
Support instructional and research laboratory operations within the Biological Sciences of the Department of Natural Sciences, under the supervision of the Biological Sciences Laboratory Manager.
Responsibilities*
- Prepare laboratory materials, reagents, and supplies for biology and environmental science undergraduate lab courses.
- Assist with documentation, inventory, and relocation of plants and materials as part of the greenhouse revitalization project.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot basic laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Participate in sample collection and basic analysis of biological or environmental materials (soil, water, plant).
- Monitor chemical and biological supply inventory and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with routine upkeep of greenhouse infrastructure and support plant care under supervision.
- Be present during scheduled lab sessions in the biological sciences dispensary to provide logistical and operational support.
- Follow all departmental protocols for safety and waste disposal.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory and greenhouse safety procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Mater's degree in Environmental Science or Biology.
- Experience working in greenhouse environments or biology teaching labs.
