The Spaces Engineering team is at the forefront of shaping the future of Google's physical and digital workplaces. We develop market-leading internal technology products that directly impact the safety, productivity, and well-being of every Googler. Our team's various product portfolios include pioneering AI-driven physical security systems, optimizing global meeting room logistics, and building sophisticated spatial intelligence tools. This work empowers Google's Real Estate and Workplace Services team (REWS) to make critical, data-driven decisions, ensuring our buildings are perfectly attuned to the dynamic needs of our people.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience in the development of First Party (1P) applications.
- 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), business finance, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with integrating AI models into products to solve genuine user needs.
- Experience in product strategy within a rapidly evolving and ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities
- Advocate a user-first mindset by partnering closely with dedicated User Experience (UX) research and design teams to iteratively define, prototype, and validate intuitive and effective product solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers to evaluate, select, and integrate sensor hardware (e.g., WiFi access points, Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors, machine vision) to accurately and responsibly measure the utilization of Google's campus buildings.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle authoring and driving product strategy, defining clear roadmaps, and articulating detailed requirements in close partnership with REWS business leaders, Engineering, and UX teams.
- Develop a forward-thinking product strategy for responsibly integrating advanced Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning capabilities, including models like Gemini, into REWS analysis products to unlock transformative insights for workplace optimization.
- Design and lead products that make Google a great place to work, whilst furthering the mission of our REWS partners.
