oGuides candidates through the onboarding process, maintains onboarding checklist, sends new hire emails, etc.

Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to support the daily functions of our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has prior experience supporting People/HR teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs routine tasks required to support human resource programs including but not limited to talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement and recognition, compensation, benefits, leaves, workers compensation, unemployment, occupational health and safety training and development.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork and internal coordination via ticketing systems
- Maintain employee records and update internal systems, including entries in Paycom
- Manages employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Help coordinate internal processes, documentation; streamlining, enhancing and improving workflows through the use of technology & innovation
- Assist with implementing HR initiatives and tracking task progress
- Ensure HR practices remain in alignment with labor laws and internal policies
- Foster strong internal relationships across teams and departments
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events, projects and meetings as needed
- Payroll: Serves as a back-up to the payroll manager, able to process payroll if/when needed, assists in creation and updating of payroll processing documentation.
- Compliance: Reviews, tracks and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments which may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications
- Recruitment & Onboarding/Offboarding:
oWorks in, maintains and updates the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
oGuides candidates through the onboarding process, maintains onboarding checklist, sends new hire emails, etc.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or a related field, preferred
- 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or Generalist
- Prior full cycle recruiting, preferred
- Prior payroll processing, preferred
- State and Federal Compliance experience, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar platform
- Engaged team member who takes initiative and is excited about department growth and position development
- Must possess a positive, can-do attitude with a desire to collaborate with people
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Maturity, professionalism and emotional intelligence necessary
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work towards continuous improvement and streamlining of processes
- Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems including but not limited to Paycom & FreshService.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment and redirection of tasks and focus
- Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative and work independently
- Excellent organizational skills while being mindful of the smallest details
