ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architect & Build AI Solutions
- Design, develop, and deploy generative-AI agents, RAG applications, and automation workflows on Azure (Logic Apps, OpenAI, ML, DevOps).
- Code primarily in C#/Python; ship via CI/CD.
ML & MLOps Enablement
- Stand up and own pipelines (Databricks/Azure ML) for data prep, model training, telemetry, and automated re-training.
- Instrument everything for observability and alerting.
Integration & Data Engineering
- Connect AI services to ERP (Epicor), SCADA/IoT feeds, and third-party APIs.
- Build secure bridges between on-prem data, vector databases, and the cloud.
Governance & Risk Management
- Define usage policies, align with Purview DLP, and monitor models for bias, leakage, and performance drift.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field – OR – equivalent hands-on experience related to these fields.
- 3+ years full-stack software engineering with CI/CD and cloud (Azure preferred).
- 1+ years building and deploying ML/DL or Gen-AI solutions in production.
- Proven success in integrating AI with enterprise data (SQL/NoSQL, APIs, message queues).
- Strong knowledge of C# and Python; comfortable with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
- Working understanding of DevOps (Git, pipelines, IaC) and containerization (Docker/K8s).
- Ability to untangle complex problems independently, then explain your solution in plain English to non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Microsoft certifications (Azure AI Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Power Platform SA).
- Experience with vector DBs, knowledge graphs, or Copilot Studio prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with blockchain-based integrations or decentralized compute (Solidity/EVM).
- Exposure to manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA, industrial IoT).
