Starting Pay - $29.62-$37.03 (based on experience)

Qualifications

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to evaluate and quickly become proficient with new software
  • Two-year degree or three years work experience supporting telecommunications or technical systems
  • Avaya and Microsoft certifications preferred
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCPIP)
  • Working knowledge of help desk ticketing system and knowledge base
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for application and hardware analysis

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports Microsoft Windows, Office, and other peripheral devices.
  • Ability to work within a helpdesk ticket system.
  • Provides telephone support for both workstation and telecom.
  • Must be able to perform break fix of hardware components.
  • Responds to telephone, voicemail, headset, fax, and smart or android cell phone needs/issues.
  • Teaches end-users features on different telephone styles and voicemail functions.
  • Assists in the development of new workstation requirements and the ongoing care.
  • Assists in development of new applications and the maintenance functions to support.
  • Evaluates new software and hardware products as relates to IT support.
  • Basic programming of new phone stations and voicemail functions.
  • Supports and coordinates telecom/workstation projects during upgrades, changes, remodels, etc.
  • Supports end-users in branch clinic environments.
  • Provides transportation for remote user support locations.
  • Makes minor wiring changes for station moves and remodels.
  • Professional image and projection along with excellent customer service and public relations skills required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and work independently.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Supports telehealth devices and other components associated to telehealth.
  • Participates in end user education.
  • May participate in on-call responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
