Position Duties/Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Content: Create and maintain engaging instructor-led and self-paced eLearning materials tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with SMEs: Work closely with subject matter experts to convert complex technical procedures and systems into clear, digestible training resources.
- Maintain Content Standards: Establish and enforce guidelines for clarity, accessibility, branding, and instructional quality across all training materials.
- Develop Curriculum Pathways: Build structured learning paths for field, support, and leadership roles, covering technical, safety, and soft skills training.
- Evaluate and Improve: Continuously assess and refine content using learner feedback and performance data to enhance effectiveness.
- Manage Content Lifecycle: Support rapid development, version control, and timely updates to align with new systems, sites, or processes.
- Align Learning Outcomes: Ensure training objectives correspond with practical assessments and role-specific competencies for measurable results.
- Develop and Maintain Library Structure: Create and manage a structured library system to categorize content and classify documents for efficient access and organization.
- Assess Skill Gaps: Collaborate with technician development specialists to analyze gaps identified in the organization's skills matrix and guide targeted content development initiatives.
- Train Instructors: Educate instructor staff on best instructional methods and practices used in the learning and development industry to enhance training delivery.
Required
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support or training coordination role, preferably in a technical training or education setting.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Cornerstone, Moodle, Blackboard) and other training administration tools.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- 3–5 years of experience designing instructional content (eLearning and ILT)

- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond).
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts in technical or operational fields.
- Strong writing, editing, and content structuring skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards.
- Works under general supervision. Independently determines the approach to take and the methods to use. Interprets policy in terms of objectives. Informs manager of unusual situations with far reaching implications.
- Major responsibilities typically require creativity and latitude. Employee typically operates with specific objectives but often few written or unwritten procedures as guidelines. Some policies or precedents for action exist.
