Vacancy: HR Manager, USA.
Location: US office in Pflugerville, Austin (Texas).
We are a leading Engineering company looking for a talented and experienced HR Manager to join our team.
As a HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding processes, assistance in payroll process, employee relations, compliance, performance management, benefits administration, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, strong communicator, and a trusted partner to leadership and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.
- Manage HRIS systems.
- Receive and communicate worker in/out orders.
- Complete new employee set up process in ADP, Clock in/out system, SAP, IT equipment, etc, making sure they are properly onboarded.
- Assist Payroll Admin during the process, providing relevant data.
- Handle employee questions and issues, providing support and clarification to employees.
- Assist in International Mobility
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Manage the interview process, coordinate schedules, and provide timely communication with candidates and hiring teams.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding.
- Partner with HR team members and managers to support workforce planning and talent development strategies.
- Manage employee benefits programs.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for HR leadership and audit purposes.
- Promote a positive employer brand by delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations issues, and conflict resolution.
- Support performance management processes, including coaching, discipline, and terminations.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring initiatives.
What will you need as a successful HR Manager?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- 5 years of progressive HR experience in generalist roles.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
