The New Patient Access Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for new patients and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. This role involves patient communication, scheduling, administrative support, and coordination with other departments to facilitate high-quality care.

$20.00 to $22.00 Hourly

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

What you will do:
- Contact new patients to welcome them and explain what to expect at their first visit.
- Assist patients with completing required forms and answer general questions.
- Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Review patient records to ensure all required documentation is complete before the first visit.
- Greet patients upon arrival and provide them with an orientation to the clinic.
- Explain clinic procedures, follow-up scheduling, and available services.
- Help patients access services such as physical therapy, chiropractic care, or behavioral health.
- Coordinate patient access to medical records, prescriptions, and external providers.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Enter and update patient information in the system accurately.
- Monitor emails, voicemails, and appointment requests across various platforms.
- Assist with internal communications and department tasks as assigned.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Serve as a main point of contact for new patient questions and follow-ups.
- Assist with other duties and tasks as needed per business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
- Bilingual skills a plus
$20.00 to $22.00 Hourly
