Job Details

The QA Laborer is responsible for collecting samples from machines within the facility for the lab. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Picking up rubber samples from machines that production workers will have cut out
  • Taking samples to the lab and write down in a log specifying which machine they are from
  • Time stamping each sample to give to lab technicians
  • Pick up tickets and scanner from the lab and match the tags to the correct skid of rubber using information on provided tags
  • Use scanner to sac barcodes on tickets to ensure they are applying correct ticket to correct skid of rubber
  • Analyze soap samples that operators deliver to the lab
  • Place soap samples into the moisture analyzing machine and run analysis
  • Log data collected from soap sample analysis
  • Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Skills and Abilities
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing
    • Must follow all health and safety requirements
    • Good communication skills
    • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Some computer skills and knowledge preferred
  • Physical Requirements
    • Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
    • Repeat the same movements
    • Frequent bending and twisting
    • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
    • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
    • Full Time All Shifts Available
    • Monday-Friday
    • 6a-2p; 2p-10p; 10p-6a
