The Associate Product Master Data Specialist is responsible for the accurate execution and maintenance of item master data across the full product lifecycle for both Warehouse and DSD (Direct Store Delivery) items. This role ensures data integrity within the Oracle Retail ERP system and supports pricing accuracy, promotional execution and operational troubleshooting. Store Managers, to uphold data quality standards.
Compensation
Starting pay range: $23.25 - $30.25. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Requirements
The Associate Product Master Data Specialist is responsible for the accurate execution and maintenance of item master data across the full product lifecycle for both Warehouse and DSD (Direct Store Delivery) items. This role ensures data integrity within the Oracle Retail ERP system and supports pricing accuracy, promotional execution and operational troubleshooting. The Associate Product Master Data Specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders, including Merchandising, Field Operations and
Store Managers, to uphold data quality standards.
- Collects and inputs pricing and cost data for assigned categories into the Oracle Retail ERP system, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
- Manages end-to-end item master data maintenance for Warehouse and DSD products, including setup, attribute updates and lifecycle changes.
- Partners with Field Operations and Store Managers to validate competitive pricing and ensure product data accuracy.
- Enters and maintains promotional pricing for assigned categories, conducting thorough testing to ensure 100% pricing integrity at the store level.
- Coordinates and implements price changes provided by product owners, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Maintains item master data with precision to prevent financial discrepancies or brand risk.
- Investigates and resolves product data issues reported by Field or SSC teams, providing timely feedback and resolution.
- Supports store operations by researching and resolving data-related issues affecting pricing, promotions or item availability.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation in compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Responsible for new store setup and ongoing maintenance, including location data, store groupings, and vendor assignments.

Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Business, or related field, or equivalent work-related experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments with external partners.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks.
- Ability to identify, investigate and assess pricing discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and pricing integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities while swiftly mastering new systems and tools to drive process improvements and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with advanced skills in Excel.
- Experience with Business Intelligence software (Power BI).
- Experience with Product master data or Price Optimization software, store experience, or a background in retail marketing.
- Knowledge of Oracle Retail and RETALIX systems and operations.
