As a Route Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our lawn care service routes. In this hands-on role, you'll also work as a Spray Technician, applying treatments to ensure vibrant, healthy landscapes for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
Route Manager Responsibilities
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers following all safety guidelines
- Operate and maintain power tools and spray equipment
- Inspect lawns and landscapes for pests, diseases, and treatment needs
- Communicate with clients about services and recommend additional treatments
- Maintain accurate service records, route logs, and product documentation
- Ensure proper care and storage of equipment after use
- Collaborate with team members to deliver quality service
- Manage customer routes efficiently and adjust schedules as needed
- Promote additional services and drive enhancement sales as Route Manager
- Support the company's commitment to safety and environmental standards
- Experience in lawn care, pest control, or landscape maintenance
- Familiarity with machinery, hand tools, and safety procedures
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and sales skills a plus
- Ability to work independently while managing daily route operations
- Detail-oriented and committed to safety practices
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions
