Muhlbauer, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Generalist located in the Newport News, VA area to support our US team members. The HR Generalist will help with functions such as administration, recruiting, onboarding, and benefits.

- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job postings and screening resumes to interviewing candidates
- Overseeing the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive transition into the company
- Addressing employee relations issues, providing guidance to managers and employees, and resolving conflicts
- Administering employee benefits
- Processing payroll
- Managing the HRIS systems, maintaining employee records, ensuring accuracy of HR data
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Assist in other duties as assigned
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Organized work behavior with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed
- Being able to build rapport, foster trust, and connect with people
- Maintaining confidentiality and acting with integrity
- Having a positive attitude, providing professional conduct, and having a commitment to fostering a positive work environment
