We are searching for a talented and self-motivated AI/ML Applied Researcher – Autonomy to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to address technical challenges in aerospace and defense applications.
- Support the rapid development of innovative demonstrations and prototypes to mature AI/ML-enabled autonomous systems, including modeling, simulation, and integration to real-world vehicles.
- Support or lead applied research and development programs in collaboration with external partners, including MIT and other institutions.
- Contribute to the preparation of new R&D project proposals for government programs
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., PyTorch), artificial intelligence, computer vision, or natural language processing.
- Experience with software development (e.g., Python).
- Must be a US Person (US citizen or permanent resident/Green Card holder)
- PhD degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicles
- Occasional travel may be required.
- The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Cambridge, MA, or Manassas, VA. Proximity to one of these locations is required.
- Minimum Range: $94,000.00 to $167,000.00
- Maximum Range: $113,000.00 to $202,000.00
