Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects within petrochemical/industrial facilities. This role requires deep knowledge of industrial construction practices, regulatory compliance, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects within petrochemical/industrial environments, from planning to closeout.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, vendors, and facility stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, EPA, and facility-specific safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
  • Oversee procurement, logistics, and installation of materials and equipment.
  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with working in petrochemical/industrial environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably in petrochemical or industrial settings.
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and hazardous work environments.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project,
  • Primavera).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • TWIC card and OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with turnaround projects, facility expansions, or infrastructure upgrades in petrochemical plants.
  • Familiarity with API, ASME, and other industrial codes and standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and vendors in a high-security environment.
