Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects within petrochemical/industrial facilities. This role requires deep knowledge of industrial construction practices, regulatory compliance, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in high-risk environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects within petrochemical/industrial environments, from planning to closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, subcontractors, vendors, and facility stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, EPA, and facility-specific safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and installation of materials and equipment.
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
- Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with working in petrochemical/industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably in petrochemical or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and hazardous work environments.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project,
- Primavera).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- TWIC card and OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Experience with turnaround projects, facility expansions, or infrastructure upgrades in petrochemical plants.
- Familiarity with API, ASME, and other industrial codes and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and vendors in a high-security environment.
