Based in Amarillo, TX, this role collaborates closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to manage earthwork and underground utility operations from start to finish. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of complex site development projects.
  • Support management of underground utilities including storm, sewer, water, gas, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate and monitor mass grading operations and ensure compliance with site-specific requirements.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and permits for accuracy and execution planning.
  • Track quantities, materials, production rates, and subcontractor performance across job sites.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
  • Update project schedules and support logistical planning with field teams.
  • Communicate consistently with owners, engineers, vendors, and construction teams.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent field experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in underground utilities, earthwork, or private industrial construction.
  • Familiarity with local codes, permitting, and utility coordination practices.
  • Proficiency in software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of civil plans, site layouts, and construction documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work on active field sites.

Schedule

  • Full-Time - Monday to Friday
  • Occasional extended hours or weekend support based on project phase
