The Community Relations Coordinator - Events organizes events and builds partnerships - within the hospital and out in the community - to promote the image of the facility and gain new opportunities that meet the mission of the hospital.

Public relations and event-planning experience required. Must be proficient in basic document programs such as Google Workspace and familiar with various graphics applications such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Bachelor's degree required in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

Summary/Objective
The Community Relations Coordinator - Events organizes events and builds partnerships - within the hospital and out in the community - to promote the image of the facility and gain new opportunities that meet the mission of the hospital.
Essential Job Duties

- Coordinates with community, school, and media representatives to encourage support of hospital initiatives & community partnerships (examples include but not limited to: Partners in Education, blood drives, awareness events, business partners, conferences, health fairs and fundraisers). Organize tables, booths, event venues with appropriate Marketing materials and brand identity.
- Assists in the management of the Executive Wellness program. To include but not limited to: appointment scheduling, concierge services, and appropriate follow up.
- Develops relationships with business entities within the Executive Wellness program to promote the program and gain new patients.
- Manages the planning and production of internal employee events such as picnics, hospital week, retirements, service awards and other celebrations; physician celebrations such as the annual Christmas party and Doctor’s Day; Foundation events.
- Actively promotes partnerships with various industry leaders and community organizations to further the outreach and education mission of the hospital.
- Partners with various Hospital Department Leaders and Representatives as well as physicians to ensure service lines are appropriately represented within the community.
