Provides services to individuals in a specific age range determined by the program grant. The individuals must have psychosis included in their mental health diagnoses. Training will address problems such as substance use, community involvement, understanding of illness, medication needs and limited coping skills, work skills, adjustment to the workplace, coping skills during formal education, and in the workplace. Works with consumers, family, schools, places of employment, and other collaborative providers to reduce the risk of loss of employment or loss of educational opportunities. Helps consumer and family to modify attitudes and patterns of behavior by increasing coping skills. This position will serve to educate the family members on mental illness as well as other persons in the community such as employers, education facilities etc. Refers consumers to community resources and other organizations as needed. This position will complete assessments, performs follow-up to determine quantity and quality of service provided for consumer, and monitors status of consumer's case.\
