Seeking a RN Psych Intake Specialist to join a leading healthcare provider.
- Conduct patient intake screenings to ensure accurate psychiatric placement based on medical criteria.
- Determine admission eligibility or refer patients to community resources, collaborating with physicians.
- Develop relationships with funding agencies and coordinate insurance and billing processes.
- Work with community medical facilities to obtain necessary authorizations and approvals.
- Qualifications include RN, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure, BLS certification, CPI training, with at least 1 year in acute care or 2 years in behavioral health preferred.
