Tom Hesser Dealerships has an opening for an experienced Office Manager/HR Generalist at our Chevrolet/BMW dealership. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Office Management/Human Resources experience. The Human Resources Generalist works closely with all Department Managers, and reports directly to the General Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Process and submit company payroll through Paylocity payroll system.
  • Responsible for employee needs related to payroll and benefit questions/concerns.
  • Manage all unemployment claims.
  • Support compliance with Federal, State and Local employment laws & regulations.
  • Establish & maintain employee's personnel files.
  • Manage labor relations between employees & management.
  • Administer benefits and worker's compensation programs.
  • Assist with month end journal entries and closing.
  • Cut accounts payable checks through CDK accounting system.
  • Process & submit service warranty claims.
  • Administer company benefits programs.
  • Assist in writing company personnel policies.
  • Assist Receptionist with answering calls and cashiering.


Desired Skills And Experience

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a management capacity.
  • Experience with Paylocity payroll system.
  • Must possess a high level of initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to positively work well with others toward a common goal.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated.
  • Positive attitude.


Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Full Time
