RN, Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

• Demonstrates competency in self-leadership, team leadership, or leadership of leaders.
• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) for assigned patients.
• Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, providing education and resources.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assesses learning needs of patients and families, offering education and support.
  
  

Job requirements include a preferred BSN, at least 1 year of related nursing experience, and current RN license with required certifications such as BLS, NRP, ACLS, and fetal monitoring credentials.

New hires must complete orientation and competency validation within specified timeframes.

Work schedule is 7PM-7AM, part-time, not exceeding 950 characters.
