Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Vehicle Sales

  • Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Identify customer needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable new or pre-owned vehicles.
  • Conduct product presentations and test drives that highlight features and benefits.
  • Explain financing options, warranties, and dealership services clearly and confidently.
  • Build lasting relationships through exceptional customer service and proactive follow-up.

Sales Performance & Goal Achievement

  • Consistently meet or exceed dealership sales targets and KPIs.
  • Utilize proven sales techniques to close deals and increase profitability.
  • Partner with the Sales Manager to strategize and hit monthly and annual sales goals.

Vehicle Delivery & Product Knowledge

  • Stay current with inventory and automotive technology trends.
  • Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections and road tests.
  • Ensure a smooth delivery experience by explaining features, documents, and maintenance plans.

Compliance & Team Collaboration

  • Adhere to all dealership, state, and federal sales regulations and ethical practices.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive team environment through respectful and professional conduct.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensing:
  • California Vehicle Sales License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid California Driver’s License

Experience: Previous automotive or retail sales experience is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM and dealership software
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet sales goals
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
