The Logistics Coordinator is a shore-based role, currently based in Renewable Strategy’s marine traffic control room in New Bedford. The Logistics Coordinator will work as part of a team working 12hr shifts, normally with working hours 06:00 to 18:00. The rotation is a 7 day on, 7 day off rotation, with occasional work attendance outside of this rotation. From time to time the 12 hr working day could start earlier or later depending on vessel departure times and time of loading operations.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process information in our proprietary RSL Manager construction management SaaS system.
  • Assist our Marine Coordination Centre with any emergency coordination support requirement as required.
  • Candidate to initially provide coordination and support services to offshore wind farm under construction
  • Candidate will assist with checking of crew compliments, certificates, and compliance for Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) and Guard Vessels
  • Support with the administrative coordination of vessel and technicians, including logistics and personal needs of technicians
  • Arrange personnel travel, transportation, lodging, personal effects as required
  • Assist with coordination of equipment, tools or supplies
  • Attend vessel loading operations with subsequent report and observations
  • Make recommendations for coordination of efficient transportation of people and cargo to and on the windfarm
  • Advise of possible fuel and time savings
  • Coordinate crew manifests, lists and rotations as required
  • Assist in call out of replacement technicians
  • Log and monitor equipment, consumables and tool locations on-shore and on-board vessels and related dangerous goods
  • Provide general support, coordination, and administration for windfarm logistics
  • Work closely with project team personnel as well as colleagues in other roles as required
  • Other activities may be required from time to time included but not limited to business development, attending conferences, etc.

Preferably a maritime academy graduate or equivalent.
